General goals: After completing this course students will know and understand terms and conceptions of “System”, “Systems model”, “System behavior and interaction”, “Rational Unified Process for information system development”, to use modern methodologies of software and hardware architecture design and codesign for information and telecommunication systems, be able to specify system requirements and behavior using UML and also to use tools that help translate UML specifications into source code of different software and hardware description languages.
